Yesterday the House passed House Bill 149. If your vehicle was involved in traffic crash and the airbag deploys many times the airbag replacement costs total the value of the vehicle. Airbags cost between $1500 and $3000 each not installed. Individuals are buying these totaled vehicles, not replacing the airbags and selling them. This law will require persons selling cars without an airbag must give written notice to the buyer.
